SLO Trees — Our Roots Run Deep

One city. Living landmarks.

A voice for our urban forest.

SLO Trees advocates for informed decisions about significant mature trees in San Luis Obispo. Mature trees shape the shade, habitat, and history of this city. When one is threatened, residents deserve a clear record and a chance to be heard.

Talking points Please make an informed decision and consider feasible alternatives to removal. Please put the arborist findings and the alternatives the City considered in the public record. Mature trees provide shade, habitat, and neighborhood character that replacement plantings do not restore quickly. Please give residents a chance to be heard before any removal is approved.

Your own message

Submitting also requests enrollment in occasional alerts about significant San Luis Obispo trees (about once a year or less). A confirmation email is required. You can unsubscribe anytime. Your name and email are never sold. Read the privacy notice.
